She is now a significant sponsor of Pat Farmer's Pole to Pole run down the west coast of the Americas, through 14 countries during 2011 - 2012.

Davson to be the first artist ever to sponsor of an international sporting event

Last month, our Patron the Hon. Pat Farmer contacted Sharon Davson requesting her help for his upcoming world record Pole to Pole run from one polar ice cap to the other, 21,000 kilometres through 14 countries. His run is likely to raise approximately $100 million for Red Cross clean water projects.

To-day, Sharon met with Pat's Sponsorship Manager and agreed to make very significant sums of money available from the sale of several works of art, assist in the marketing of these, etc., and thereby become the first artist ever to sponsor and international sporting event. Ultimately, this action will also positively and financially benefit the DAM building fund.

It's time to get those running shoes on!!
